Casie Friedman has been promoted to senior director of global distribution and sales, responsible for worldwide home entertainment and digital sales.

Prior to joining the company in 2012, Friedman worked in Paramount Pictures’ Home Media Distribution Group with an emphasis on VoD sales and distribution.

Amy Takahara will be taking on Friedman’s previous role as director of global distribution and sales. She joins TJHC having formerly been the manager of distribution and marketing at FremantleMedia Kids and Family Entertainment.

Elsewhere, Katie Mullins, who joined TJHC in February last year as an assistant of global distribution, has been promoted to co-ordinator of global distribution, supporting TJHC’s executive VP of global distribution and international consumer products, Richard Goldsmith.

The promotions and new hire are the result of a restructure that started with the promotion of Karen Lee Arbeeny to VP of business operations and global distribution.

TJHC’s global distribution division handles sales of children’s series such as Dinosaur Train, Doozers, Sid the Science Kid, Pajanimals and Hi Opie!.

Henson Independent Properties, meanwhile, distributes series such as Lily’s Driftwood Bay and Elias: Rescue Team Adventures.
