Heartbeats detected in Philippines

1000 Heartbeats airs in daytime on ITV

MIPTV: Philippines network TV5 has picked up a local version of UK family gameshow format 1000 Heartbeats.

The format, created by UK prodco Hungry Bear Productions, airs in daytime on UK commercial network ITV. The new 60×60’ version of the show will premiere on TV5 in July, produced by prodco Viva Communications.

The deal with TV5 was brokered by Asian distributor and prodco Bomanbridge Media’s CEO Sonia Fleck, acting as consultant to Sky’s production and distribution arm Sky Vision in the region. Sky Vision holds worldwide rights to the show outside the UK.

The gameshow involves contestants attempting to answer questions for a cash prize within the time it takes their heart to beat 1,000 times.
