HBO Canada, Much take Vice News Tonight

Broadcast group Bell Media has linked up with Vice Media to take news programme Vice News Tonight to Canada this fall.

The 30-minute show will air on Bell-owned HBO Canada and Much.com, with stories also available on Much-branded social media channels.

Vice News Tonight recently gained worldwide attention for its coverage of the Charlottesville riots, which aired as a dedicated 22-minute special before going on to receive more than 50 million views across multiple platforms.

Vice News Tonight, which currently airs on HBO in the US, will be shown on HBO Canada Monday-Thursday at 23.00 ET/20.00 PT.

The show will play on Much.com’s new schedule Monday-Thursday at 21.00 ET/18.00 PT, beginning October 16.
