Hazlitt exits ITV

Fru Hazlitt, ITV’s MD of commercial and online, is to step down after almost five years to move overseas with her family.

Hazlitt, a former Yahoo executive, joined the UK broadcaster in 2010 and was instrumental in driving the company’s revenues through international growth.

ITV’s joint group commercial director Kelly Williams will replace her as MD of commercial, taking responsibility for all of ITV’s commercial broadcast activities and a seat on the firm’s board.

Her online, pay and interactive duties will be taken over by Simon Pitts, group director of strategy and technology. He now becomes MD of online, pay and interactive.

ITV CEO Adam Crozier said: “Fru has been a terrific member of the management team, and has done a fantastic job transforming ITV’s commercial operation. She leaves with our thanks and very best wishes.”

Hazlitt added: “I work with extremely talented people and clients and I am very proud of all that we have achieved together. I also feel that this will be an exciting adventure for me and my family as we relocate away from the UK for the next year.”
