Emma Hardy will leave Princess this summer after a six-month handover period, with a successor to be announced in due course, the company said today.

Hardy first joined Princess in 1996 and became joint MD in 2014. The company’s slate has included The Sunday Night Project and Got to Dance during her tenure.

The news of her departure follows the announcement that Conor Bailey, who was appointed joint MD at the same time as Hardy and was previously Princess’s finance director, will leave this month.

Last year Princess was commissioned by Channel 4 to produce its Stand Up to Cancer event, which raised £15.7m (US$19.5m).

The company has also worked with a range of YouTube creators on innovative content for various platforms.

Hardy said: “I have loved my time at Princess and feel incredibly lucky to have worked with so many brilliant and talented people. It’s very important to me that a handover is seamless, ensuring Princess continues to go from strength to strength.”
