Gurney deals with ThunderPants

ITV-owned Duck Dynasty creator Gurney Productions has forged an overall deal with LA-based ThunderPants Entertainment.

The label was set up last year by exec producers Rob Worsoff and Brian Wendel and is developing both film and TV projects with Gurney, with Worsoff having previously worked on Duck Dynasty.

The duo have also been behind shows for Bravo, VH1, CBS and National Geographic, among others.

Gurney, which is behind Auction Hunters, Fat n Furious and Sharkageddon, became one of the first US prodcos to be acquired by UK-based ITV when it received US$40m for a 61.5% stake in 2012.
