GSN retakes Idiotest

US cablenet GSN has renewed original gameshow commission Idiotest for a second 65-episode season.

Fronted by comedian Ben Gleib, the show is based on a popular phone app and gives two pairs of contestants the chance to face off in several rounds of rapid-fire questions.

The first season was seen by more than 12 million viewers in total, almost doubling its time slot average, according to GSN.

The series is produced by Little Wooden Boat Productions along with H2R Productions and He Shoots He Scores Productions.

Mark Cronin, Adam Rosenblatt, Jamie Rosenblatt, Christian Horner, Ryan Devlin, Shawn Greenson, Larry Barron and Ryan Curtis executive produce alongside Gleib.

GSN has already renewed matchmaking series It Takes a Church and body painting competition Skin Wars for new seasons this year.
