GRB paranormal activity sells to int’l nets

Blue Ant and WP1 have acquired Occult Crimes

Canada’s Blue Ant Media and WP1 in Poland are among those to have picked up a raft of paranormal programming from US distributor and prodco GRB Entertainment.

Blue Ant and WP1 have both acquired Occult Crimes (10×60’), which takes viewers into the minds of killers who committed murder as part of a quest for immortality.

Elsewhere in Canada, GameTV has picked up two seasons of factual series Portal to the Unknown, a programme exploring people’s strange encounters, from haunted places and UFO sightings to mysterious vanishings and demonic possession.

US-based Scripps Networks International, the sales and distribution arms of Scripps Networks Interactive, has taken When Ghosts Attack (8×60’), for its EMEA feed. Each episode of the show focuses on first-person accounts of attacks by ghostly entities.

The sales follow a fruitful period for GRB, especially in Poland having sold the country crime, wildlife and weather documentaries, as well as shipping similar programming to Denmark and Japan.
