Global Road brings Idiotest to Cannes

MIPTV: US producer and distributor Global Road Entertainment has acquired the worldwide rights to gameshow format Idiotest and is here in Cannes this week pitching the show to international buyers.

Global Road (fka IM Global Television) has picked up the rights to the format and all the original episodes from the four seasons that aired in the US on Game Show Network.

The show is based on a popular app of the same name and gives two pairs of contestants the chance to face off in several rounds of visual brain-teasers that look deceptively simple.

The US version is hosted by Ben Gleib and launched in 2014, produced by Little Wooden Boat Productions.
