Global in step with Glam’s Dance

Turkey’s Global Agency has acquired international distribution rights to a new Israeli format that sees professional dancers team up with amateurs.

Dance With Me was created by Ami Glam, CEO of Studio Glam, the Tel Aviv-based production outfit behind shows including The Extra Mile and 300 Sec Ride, both of which have sold internationally.

Global is partnering with Glam to take the format to the international market and it will be soft launched at Natpe in Miami later this month.

Dance With Me sees contestants go on stage to perform a dance for 90 seconds in front of eight professionals who must choose whom to partner with for the final round.

However the contestants dance for 30 seconds behind a back-lit screen, with only their silhouette visible. After another 30 seconds they will be fully revealed and the professionals have to make their choices.
