France 3 and Germany’s ZDF are among broadcasters across the world to have picked up miniseries Safe House.

The 4×60′ Eleventh Hour Films show, distributed by All3Media International, debuted on the UK’s ITV in April and will air on the France Télévisions net later this year. NBC in France has also acquired cable and satellite window rights.

Elsewhere, ZDF Neo in Germany, TV4 in Sweden, TV2 in Denmark, NRK in Norway, VRT in Flemish Belgium, HRT in Croatia and UTV in Eire have all picked up the drama.

BBC Worldwide has acquired the show for its drama label BBC First in Australia, alongside ITV International Channels for pan-Asia and Africa.

The show, a true story about a couple who turn their remote B&B into a safe house, will also air on TV3 in New Zealand and Wowow for Japan.
