Glam grows int’l development arm

Israeli production firm Studio Glam has launched a new international development division to create formats for the global market.

Studio Glam ID (International Development) will operate alongside Tel Aviv-based Studio Glam as a separate entity focusing on international collaborations with broadcasters, production companies and distributors. It aims to co-develop original formats.

Studio Glam founder and CEO Ami Glam will head up the creative side of the new division and oversee all aspects of development.

“The new division is a huge and exciting step forward, as it opens up opportunities to work with new players,” Glam said.

Studio Glam is launching three new formats at Mipcom next month including: challenge-based gameshow Double or Nothing, created with Armoza Formats; Knockout, a hidden-camera prank show created in collaboration with Keshet International; and The Decision, a new factual entertainment format currently in production for Channel 10 Israel.
