Gaumont Int’l expands sales team

US-based producer and distributor Gaumont International Television (GIT) has hired an A+E Television sales executive to become its VP of distribution, based in London.

Hana Zidek will oversee the Hannibal and Hemlock Grove producer’s sales in Central and Eastern Europe, Scandinavia and Benelux.

Zidek, who most recently served as director, international content sales EMEA, for A+E in London, will report to Erik Pack, Gaumont’s head of international distribution and coproduction, in the newly created role.

GIT is an LA-based production and distribution studio, part of the European-based motion picture studio Gaumont, and is currently producing new episodes of US dramas Hannibal and Hemlock Grove, for NBC and Netflix respectively.

Zidek joined A+E in 2012, having previously held distribution roles at Lionsgate International Television, Viasat Broadcasting and Granada International in the UK.
