Gamsu leads Red Arrow unscripted

Germany-based global distributor Red Arrow International has promoted its VP of format acquisitions and sales to a new position overseeing all unscripted, factual and formats.

Harry Gamsu has been upped to VP of non-scripted at Red Arrow and will now manage all aspects of the company’s unscripted business across new and catalogue properties. He will also be in charge of acquiring content from third-party producers, broadcasters and new platforms.

The role has been created as part of an increased emphasis on factual programming, alongside the acquisition of formats for distribution and adaptation by Red Arrow-owned production companies.

The company launched factual series including Motive to Murder (78×30’) and Weather or Not (52×30’) from Bellum Entertainment and Man v Viral (6×60’) from Ned TV at Mipcom last year.

New format releases include social experiment Look Me in the Eye created by CPL Productions, commissioned by ProSiebenSat.1 in Germany and already picked up by TF1 Group in France and Endemol Shine for SBS in Australia.

Gamsu will report to Bo Stehmeier, the former Off The Fence exec who joined Red Arrow International as senior VP of global sales at the start of last year.
