Game of Clones heads to China

The UK version of Game of Clones

London-based producer, investor and distributor The Story Lab has linked up with 3C Media in China to co-develop a local version of a reality dating show.

Game of Clones was created and produced by Youngest Media in the UK for Channel 4’s youth-skewing network E4. It was the first commission for Youngest, which was set up by two former Endemol Shine Group executives.

The Story Lab has since sold rights to the show to French network NRJ12 and Germany’s RTL2.

Game of Clones sees a singleton move into a luxury house with ‘clones’ of their perfect partner as they try to find love in one week.

The Story Lab acquired international rights to the format in March 2017.
