FX gathers more Baskets

US cablenet FX has extended its comedy series Baskets into a second season before the first has finished airing.

Baskets was co-created by The Hangover actor Zach Galifianakis and comedian Louis CK, who won an Emmy for his work on FX show Louie.

The show, which debuted only last month, follows the life of man who gets tired of the corporate world and decides to retrain to become a clown.

It is produced by FX Productions and Louis CK’s prodco Pig Newton, which has an overall deal with the network.
