FX forecasts further Snowfall

US cablenet FX has renewed its drama series inspired by the start of the crack cocaine epidemic in LA in the early 1980s for a second season.

Snowfall follows characters including a young street entrepreneur on a quest for power, a Mexican wrestler caught up in a struggle within a crime family and the daughter of a Mexican crime lord who are all on a violent collision course with each other.

Created by John Singleton, Eric Amadio and Dave Andron, the show is produced by FX Productions and executive produced by its creators alongside Thomas Schlamme, Michael London and Trevor Engelson.
