Fullscreen selects Znak & Co’s Clickbait

YouTube business Fullscreen has launched an original gameshow that will be made available on a weekly basis from May.

Clickbait is being produced by Sky-backed prodco Znak & Co (fka Znak & Jones) and is hosted by YouTube gamer SSSniperWolf.

The show pits three social media influencers against one another in unusual challenges, such as grabbing hot dogs covered in wasabi using only their mouths and pushing an electrified toy car with their bare fingers.

The first episode of the show, which will feature guest digital influencers including Sean O’Donnell and Jordan Doww, will become available on May 11.

“The show is a millenial’s dream – it gives them the opportunity to make their clickbait obsession a reality,” said Natalka Znak, president of Znak & Co. “The challenges are so outrageously absurd that I guarantee the viewer will be squirming and laughing out loud.”

Znak & Co, which has offices in LA and London, launched in 2014 and has coproduction partnerships with firms including Electus International and a development deal with musician will.i.am. It is also producing Electus and ABC’s format The Toy Box in the UK.

Fullscreen, owned by ex-News Corp chief operating officer Peter Chernin and telecoms giant AT&T, launched its US$4.99-per-month SVoD service in April last year.
