MIPTV: FremantleMedia has acquired worldwide rights to Australian dating reality format The Single Wives ahead of MipTV in Cannes this week.

The Single Wives is being produced by Eureka Productions for Seven Network in Australia and FremantleMedia will now pitch local versions to international broadcasters.

The format follows the emotional and romantic transformation of four women whose first marriages ended in divorce. The women live together for a month, undertaking a crash-course designed to get them back on the dating scene.
