France ready for Perfect Vacation

The NT1 and TMC channels in France have picked up a travel show format from Israel’s Dori Media Group.

Dori has shopped The Perfect Vacation format to French prodco Telfrance, which will work on a local version to premiere early next year on the TF1-owned channels.

The show was originally created by Erez Dan and Omer TV, with each season hosted by a different celebrity who travels around the world using only tips and advice given to them by their social media followers.

Three seasons of the Israeli original have already aired on Channel 2 (Reshet) in its homeland and a fourth is currently in the works.

Michel Fugain and his wife will front the French version, with Dan producing and directing.
