Foxtel takes TLC series from DCD

London-based distributor DCD Rights has licensed factual content to broadcasters including Foxtel in Australia and France’s Planete.

Foxtel has taken wedding series I Found The Gown (26×30’), produced by Half Yard Productions, and United Bates of America (1×60’/8×30’), from Figure 8 Films, which both air on Discovery’s female-skewing cablenet TLC in the US.

The pay TV operator has also picked up Parole Dairies (13×60’) from Towers Productions for TV One. The series, which focuses on some of the most difficult cases faced by parole officers in Indianapolis, has also been sold to Planete and National Geographic Channels International.

Ahead of MipTV, DCD has also added several titles to its slate including food series Bitten: Sarah Graham Cooks Cape Town, made by Okuhle Media for South Africa’s SABC, and wildlife series Snow Leopards of Leafy London, from Artists in Motion for Animal Planet.
