Fox shuts door on Knock Knock

US network Fox has pulled the plug on Ryan Seacrest-hosted reality show Knock Knock Live after just two episodes.

The show premiered on July 21 to a 0.5 average rating in the 18-49 demo and 1.7 million viewers overall.

The format surprises regular people by bringing celebrities to their front door to give them a prize. It was produced by XIX Entertainment and Dick Clark Productions, with Seacrest also acting as an exec producer.

The Tuesday 21.00 timeslot will now be filled by The Last Man on Earth next week, combined with Brooklyn Nine-Nine going forward.
