Fox Rusch into event series

US network Fox has hired a former Fabrik Entertainment and Fox Television Studios exec as its VP of event series.

Rachel Rusch is taking the role on having previously served as director of development at Fabrik.

She will report to David Madden, president of entertainment at the Fox Broadcasting Company, and oversee the network’s limited-run programming initiatives.

Rusch will work closely with 20th Century Fox Television, FX Productions and independent studios to commission and develop large-scale event series and live scripted events.

While at Fabrik, Rusch produced drama series Bosch for Amazon. Prior to that she was manager of programming at Fox Television Studios.

Rusch replaces senior VP of event series Shana C Waterman and VP Jeni Mulein, who left at the end of last year.
