FIC’s Fox flies in Belgium

Fox International Channels (FIC) is extending the reach of its flagship entertainment channel in Europe after securing a carriage deal in Belgium.

Fox will launch on October 1 and premiere shows including The Walking Dead, Da Vinci’s Demons, The Flash and comedy series The Mindy Project.

It will be available to Telenet Digital TV customers, while on demand services will also be available to subscribers.

Marco de Ruiter, FIC’s MD for Germany, France and Belgium, said the company’s “core focus is to build an attractive channel and to offer the best international content to the Flemish audience.”

Fox is currently available in 126 countries across Latin America, Europe, Africa and Asia, while FIC had already offered National Geographic Channel and Nat Geo Wild to viewers in Belgium.
