FIC reveals Mip formats

FIC's Lucky Ladies format

FIC’s Lucky Ladies format

Fox International Channels Content Sales (FICCS) has unveiled its catalogue of formats for Mipcom next month.

Originally developed at FIC to feed the group’s global entertainment and factual networks, the newly launched format rights for Lucky Ladies, School for Husbands and F***ing Telemarketers will all be available in Cannes.

The Lucky Ladies franchise was initially produced in Mexico, and has since been exported to Brazil, Italy and Argentina. The docusoap format chronicles the lives of women bonded by a common lifestyle – such as being the wives of rock stars, or living in high society.

School for Husbands has had a second season greenlit by Fox Life in Argentina. The show takes eight marriages in trouble, with the men believing it’s the wives who are being unreasonable, and shows them the error of their ways.

F***ing Telemarketers originally aired on Fox in Finland and is a mixture of docusoap and workplace comedy focusing on the eccentric boss of a group of telemarketers.

Also available will be existing FICCS formats including National Geographic Channel’s Street Genius, Car S.O.S and Science of Stupid and a bouquet of telenovela hailing from Fox Telecolombia.
