Federation taps Little Dot for YouTube

Little Dot Studios in the UK has agreed a deal that will see it manage Federation Kids & Family and its production studio Cottonwood Media’s content on YouTube around the world.

Little Dot will be tasked with setting up YouTube channels for Cottonwood’s premium kids’ content, while the two will work together to develop a bespoke, online digital strategy for each show.

This will help raise awareness of the shows and support regional broadcasters and local platforms, according to Paris-based Federation Kids & Family.

Little Dot will be in charge of regularly uploading new content, creating compilations and targeted playlists and scheduling all content. It will also work with YouTube Kids on cross-promotion opportunities.

The agreement will kick off with Cottonwood’s shows currently airing on traditional broadcasters in more than 160 territories, including preschool show The Ollie & Moon Show (52×11’), animated comedy Squish (52×11’) and tween dramas Find me in Paris (52×26’) and Love Divina (60×45’).
