Canal+’s The Bureau is due to enter its fourth season

SERIES MANIA: French producer Federation Entertainment is developing a US version of its spy drama The Bureau as well as a fourth season for Canal+.

The show centres on a French intelligence department responsible for training and dispatching agents to strategic and often hostile locations around the world where they conduct operations undercover.

Pascal Breton, CEO and founder of the Paris- and LA-based TV and film studio, told delegates at Series Mania that the company had been pitching a US version of the series to buyers.

Breton added that a high-profile feature film director was attached to the project, but declined to reveal their name.

He also said that Federation Entertainment was preparing a fourth season of the series for pay TV broadcaster Canal+ in France.

Previous seasons of The Bureau have been sold to broadcasters and platforms including Amazon Prime in the UK, Movistar+ in Spain and SundanceTV in the US.

The show was created by Éric Rochant and produced by Alex Berger and Éric Rochant for The Oligarchs Productions, in association with Federation Entertainment.
