Cineflix strikes biggest Spanish deal Cineflix International Distribution (CID) has finalised its largest ever volume deal in Spain, for 150 hours worth of programming. Barcelona-based broadcaster TV3 Catalunya picked up a bulk order for eight shows totalling 60 hours, including Windfall Films' Huge Moves; The Blasters, a two-part special on demolition; and historical documentaries Ten Days to Victory and Italian Fascism in Colour.In the Basque Country, Euskal Telebista acquired Ultimates (6x60'), a technology series exploring the science behind extreme speed and power, as well as Cooler Facts. Chello Multicanal's Canal Decasa picked up Colin and Justin's Home Heist, World's Greenest Homes and two series of Kim's Rude AwakeningsFor its Odisea channel, the broadcaster went for Human Prey (6x60'), which tells the harrowing true stories of people attacked by wild animals, as well as Animals at Work (26x30'). 20 Oct 2009 © C21 Media 2009 |
