Eyeworks USA picks president

Eyeworks USA has promoted veteran television exec Brant Pinvidic to the newly created position of president.

The prodco (fka 3Ball Productions) has also named a new board of directors, including Pinvidic, chief operating officer Ross Weintraub and CEOs JD Roth and Todd A Nelsons.

Pinvidic, Eyeworks’ exec VP of development since 2009, has developed dozens of shows for the company, including ABC’s Extreme Weight Loss, Spike TV’s Bar Rescue and Oxygen’s My Big Fat Revenge.

His promotion is intended to give Roth, Nelson and Weintrub more scope to focus on business strategy, both globally and domestically, the company said.

The news comes after Fox Television Studios struck a deal https://www.c21media.net/fox-eyeworks-forge-scandi-drama-pact/ with Eyeworks Group last month to develop scripted programming originating from Scandinavian writers for both the US and international markets.
