Broadcasters in Brazil, Europe and the Middle East are among those to have acquired animated children’s comedies from Canadian producer and distributor 9 Story Media Group.

Galaxy Pop’s Get Ace

Globosat-owned Gloob, Boing in France, Australia’s ABC, TVNZ in New Zealand, Spain’s TVE, E Junior in the UAE and Israel’s Zoom will all air Get Ace (52×11’), which is produced by Galaxy Pop.

It originally premiered on Network Ten-owned channel Eleven in Australia and follows the adventures of a hapless geek who is accidentally fitted with a pair of hi-tech braces.

Gloob in Brazil will also broadcast Nerds and Monsters (40×11’), which is produced by Slap Happy Cartoons for YTV in Canada.

The show, which is into its second season, follows the adventures of three nerdy children and a football star who are left on a desert island. Both series will air in Portuguese on Gloob and are expected to premiere in January 2016.
