Entertain Me’s William & Harry: Brothers In Arms

MIPTV: UKTV and Rai in Italy are among the European broadcasters to have picked up factual programming from Australia-based distributor Looking Glass International.

Pubcaster Rai has acquired engineering documentary Urban Diggers: MRT Malaysia (1×60’), which showcases the difficulties of constructing the underground section of Kuala Lumpur’s new Mass Rapid Transit system. The programme is produced by Malaysian prodco Nuvista Media (fka Novista).

UKTV picked up royal family one-off William & Harry: Brothers In Arms (1×60’), produced by UK outfit Entertain Me, which focuses on the princes’ very public upbringing and their attempts to bridge the gap between monarchy and people in the manner of their late mother, Princess Diana.

Elsewhere, Modern Times Group-owned Scandinavian/CEE satcaster Viasat has acquired environmental documentary Volcano: Creation & Destruction, produced by Kiwi prodco Making Movies.
