Tele München Group has acquired the 12×30′ series for German-speaking Europe, while pay TV channel Sky Arts will begin airing the series in the UK on April 1.

Bell Media-owned The Movie Network and Corus Entertainment’s Movie Central in Canada ordered a second run of 6×30′ episodes at the end of last year.

The series is distributed by Canada’s Tricon Films & Television, which has previously sold it to Hot Telecommunication Systems Israel.

Sensitive Skin is produced by Toronto-based Rhombus Media in association with The Movie Network, Movie Central and Baby Cow Productions, the UK prodco behind the 2005 original, which aired on BBC2.

The series follows a middle-aged wife and mother who rediscovers her sexuality and begins to question some of the choices she has made in her life.

Niv Fichman (Rhombus Media) and Sari Friedland serve as producers with Kim Cattrall, Don McKellar, Bob Martin, Andrea Gorfolova, Jon Rutherford, Henry Normal (Baby Cow Productions) and creator of the original series, Hugo Blick (The Honourable Woman), attached as executive producers.
