Euro nets embark on French Adventure

Choice TV and Foxtel have picked up Nadiya’s Food Adventure

VRT in Belgium, Matkanalen in Norway and 24Kitchen in the Netherlands have picked up culinary series James Martin’s French Adventure from UK distributor DCD Rights.

Produced by UK-based Blue Marlin Television for ITV, the show follows the chef as he retraces a TV trip his food hero Keith Floyd once took 30 years ago.

The European agreements add to sales in Australia, New Zealand, central Europe and Asia secured by DCD earlier this year.

Additionally, DCD has finalised initial deals with Choice TV (New Zealand) and Foxtel (Australia) for another new series, Nadiya’s Food Adventure (8×30’).

The BBC Studios production for BBC2 centres on the cook and former winner of The Great British Bake Off as she travels the country seeking out all that is great about food. The show will debut at Mipcom in October, alongside Martin’s new series, Saturday Morning with James Martin (26×60’).
