eOne takes Masks, Ben & Holly to Taiwan

PJ Masks is adapted from a book series by Romuald Racioppo

Transatlantic producer and distributor Entertainment One (eOne) has expanded the reach of two of its animation series in Asia after partnering with cablenet Eastern Broadcasting.

PJ Masks has started airing daily on Eastern Broadcasting’s Taiwanese children’s channel Yoyo TV, which already screens eOne animation Peppa Pig.

Yoyo will also be home to eOne series Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom when it is added to the line-up in October.

It’s the latest in a number of recent deals eOne has struck for PJ Masks, with the show picked up by Sony Pictures Television Networks in the UK in January and by free-to-air broadcaster ABC Kids in Australia in June. The series had previously been available in Oz via pay TV network Disney Junior.

eOne has said it plans to launch PJ Masks second season globally from 2018.
