eOne puts on more PJ Masks

PJ Masks is adapted from a book series by Romuald Racioppo

Canadian producer and distributor Entertainment One (eOne) has begun production on a third season of its preschool animation series PJ Masks.

The new 52×11′ episodes come as the show’s second season is set to air on Disney Junior in multiple territories, including the US, next month.

The show also airs on broadcasters such as France Télévisions’ France 5, Televisa in Mexico, Tiny Pop in the UK, TV Cultura in Brazil, ABC Kids in Australia and Rai’s YoYo in Italy.

Produced by eOne and eOne Family MD Oliver Dumont’s company Frog Box in collaboration with Disney Junior and France 5, it follows the exploits of a group of young friends who transform into superheroes when they put on their pyjamas.

“The consumer products launch has also been a huge success this year so we’re pleased that this fresh pipeline of content demonstrates our commitment to the long-term growth of the property and will inspire our licensing partners to introduce new product lines,” said Dumont.
