eOne moves into Heaven

NATPE: Transatlantic producer-distributor Entertainment One (eOne) has acquired TV rights to science writer Holly Cave’s forthcoming novel The Architecture of Heaven.

Due to publish in 2018, the novel is set in a near-future London where humans can create artificial heavens before they die, formed from the best memories of their lives.

eOne will serve as lead production studio for the series and controls worldwide rights. Michael London’s Groundswell Productions, which is behind Hulu’s Chance, FX’s Snowfall and The Magicians on Syfy, will produce.

The deal was done by eOne’s Carolyn Newman, Luke Speed of Curtis Brown Group on behalf of Sue Armstrong of Conville & Walsh, and Hilary Michael from Groundswell Productions.
