The new operation, which will focus on finished programming distribution following the mega merger in December, brings together the teams from Shine International and Endemol Worldwide Distribution (EWD) under the new banner, Endemol Shine International.

As revealed by C21, Cathy Payne is heading the sales unit at the merged entity as CEO. Nadine Nohr, who was appointed on a full-time basis to oversee Shine International in 2013, is stepping down after a handover process.

Former Endemol exec Mark Lawrence will lead the business in Europe from London, while LA-based Matt Creasey will head up the Americas, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

Also based in London are chief financial officer John Richards, assuming the same role he had at EWD, and Jan Rowland, who becomes Endemol Shine International’s head of operations.

Nadine NohrShine International’s senior VP and head of EMEA Katrina Neylon is to exit, while senior VP and head of Asia-Pacific Matthew Ashcroft left last month.

Taking up new positions in Europe are James Braham, who becomes Endemol Shine International’s senior sales director for the UK and Eire, and Lisette Schlippe, who becomes senior sales director for Germany and major Central and Eastern Europe.

In France, where Endemol’s and Shine’s operations remain independently operated and run as separate entities, the new distribution business will have an expanded presence with Shine International’s Priscilla Siney and EWD’s Solange Ribeiro-Murphy continuing in their roles as senior sales directors for French territories.

In Australia and New Zealand, EWD’s Kirsten Cargill and Shine International’s Lisa Higginson retain their respective roles as senior sales director and sales director for the region, working from Sydney.

The future of other senior execs – including EWD UK and Ireland sales director Gisela Asimus-Minnbergh and Shine International German sales director Dorit Schilling – remains unknown. The total number of execs leaving following the merger has not yet been revealed.

New external appointments will include a sales director for Asia working from Singapore and reporting to senior sales director for Asia Rashmi Bajpai, who is based in the new distribution office in Mumbai. Other forthcoming appointments will include a new head of acquisitions to be based in London.
