Elad Kuperman, head of Endemol Shine Israel, will be replaced by chief operating officer Amir Ganor, in the role of MD .

In 2005, Kuperman founded Kuperman Productions, which went on to become Endemol Shine Israel after Endemol took a majority stake in the prodco in 2013.

Ganor held senior positions within Kuperman Productions, including VP of programmes and head of productions, before rising to COO.

“After 11 years building what has become Israel’s leading independent producer and the success of our great partnership with Endemol Shine, I’ve decided after much thought that the time has come to seek a whole new challenge,” Kuperman said.

“With Ganor at the helm, Endemol Shine Israel is perfectly positioned for further growth and I wish him and all my colleagues here every possible success going forward.”

Ganor said: “Elad will be leaving the business in exceptionally good shape and I’m very much looking forward to building on that legacy and taking Endemol Shine Israel into a new chapter with the truly brilliant team we have here.”

Martha Brass, the group’s CEO of international operations, said Ganor was the “natural successor to lead Endemol Shine Israel into a new phase of growth as the company continues to build on its position as Israel’s largest independent producer, serving the market with a diverse portfolio of hit drama, comedy, entertainment and reality TV.”

Kuperman Productions was behind non-scripted shows such as The Successor on Keshet and sitcom Traffic Light, as well as Locked on Reshet and thriller The Orpheus Project for HOT.
