Endemol enters Mam Tor pact

Big Brother producer Endemol has signed an exclusive first-look development and distribution deal with fledgling UK drama prodco Mam Tor Productions.

Under the three-year deal, Endemol will provide development funding and deficit financing in return for first-look distribution rights on Mam Tor’s output. Endemol Worldwide, its world sales arm, will handle distribution.

London-based Mam Tor Productions was set up in April by former TV and film agent Tally Garner, who previously ran Curtis Brown’s in-house production company Cuba Pictures.

Her credits include Bafta-winning drama Boy A and she has also exec produced BBC1’s adaptation of Jonathan Strange And Mr Norrell.
