The Ellen Degeneres Show is heading to ITV2

UK commercial broadcaster ITV2 has picked up US comedian Ellen Degeneres’s popular talkshow and will begin airing episodes daily this month.

ITV2 will broadcast new episodes of The Ellen Degeneres Show – colloquially known as Ellen – every weekday at 13.45 from Monday January 18 in line with the US airdates.

The talkshow, recently extended in the US until 2020, contains interviews with celebrity guests, human-interest stories and recurring comedy segments.

Degeneres’ most recent series included interviews with the cast from the latest Star Wars movie, Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and pop star Justin Bieber.

Ellen is produced by by A Very Good Production and WAD Productions in association with Telepictures, It’s distributed by Warner Bros Domestic Television Distribution.

Last year DeGeneres revealed she was working with US streamer Netflix and Warner Bros Television Group to adapt 1960s children’s book Green Eggs and Ham.
