Electus takes on Critical’s Case

JonBenét Ramsey’s murder has never been solved

Multimedia studio Electus has picked up the rights to a true-crime series from producer Critical Content and has sealed a deal for the show in Canada.

The deal with Critical, the firm that emerged out of Relativity TV’s bankruptcy, will see Electus handle global distribution rights to The Case Of: JonBenét Ramsey, which debuts on CBS September 18.

Additionally, a deal has been secured with Global Television in Canada for the simulcast rights to the show, while Electus International will be bringing the Critical Content-produced series to the Mipcom market in Cannes this October.

The six-hour limited event docuseries re-examines the unsolved mystery of the 1996 murder of six-year-old beauty queen Ramsey.
