Electus packs Food for Mipcom

The global distribution arm of US multimedia studio Electus will take a mixture of original and third-party series to Mipcom this month, including culinary gameshow Food Fighters.

Food Fighters (8×60’), for US network NBC, sees wannabe chefs square off against professionals armed only with their signature dishes. Each meal is then sampled in a blind taste test by a panel of culinary judges, whose verdict determines the winner of a cash prize.

Also on the slate is social experiment Dating Naked, from Lighthearted Entertainment, and comedy series Jane the Virgin, from CBS TV Studios and Electus, which follows a religious girl who is artificially inseminated accidentally. The show is adapted from a Venezuelan telenovela and Electus International is handling distribution of the US format.

Other shows on Electus International’s slate include Candid Camera, Southern Justice, King of the Nerds, Dog & Beth on the Hunt and Running Wild with Bear Grylls.
