Eight new shows for Toon Disney

In the US, Toon Disney has been on a spending spree, lining up eight new animated series for its autumn schedule, including two US premieres for September.

The cable network, that goes out to some 32m homes, has acquired BKN International's 52×22' magic toon series Ultimate Book of Spells (UBoS), as well Toad Patrol, produced by Toadbag Productions.

Other Toon Disney acquisitions include Sabrina the Animated Series (65×30') and Mary-Kate & Ashley in Action (26×30') from DIC Entertainment.

The four other new toons arriving on the channel are from Walt Disney Television Animation: Teamo Supremo, House of Mouse, Lloyd in Space and The Weekenders.
