^[1]US indie sales house Echo Bridge Entertainment has picked up global distribution rights to The CW’s newly-acquired scripted series The LA Complex.

The Canadian-produced series follows a group of performers seeking to break into Hollywood who live in the same apartment complex. US broadcast network The CW bought the show last week ^[2] to air this spring.

Echo Bridge adds the Epitome Pictures-produced show to its 5,500-title catalogue. New content for 2012 includes 10 telemovies, three documentaries and new lifestyle productions.

Earlier this week Echo Bridge VP of international sales Sonia Mehandjiyska joined German distributor Global Screen ^[3] to lead its international sales division.
