Eccho adds five Turkish dramas

Scandi-based distributor Eccho Rights has agreed an exclusive deal with Turkish drama producer Ay Yapim to sell five new series it is launching this season.

Ay Yapim, known for its crime series Ezel, is producing Wings of Love (Bana Sevmeyi Anlat), which premiered on Fox Turkey last month.

Insider (İçerde), meanwhile, is debuting today on Show TV and stars Çağatay Ulusoy.

The third series in the package is Brave and Beautiful (Cesur ve Güzel), which will debut on Star TV later this autumn and features Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ and Tuba Büyüküstün in the lead roles.

The slate is completed by two unnamed series set to launch in the winter, as well as two from previous seasons and three feature-length TV movies (Delibal, Bikem and Dedemin Insanlari).

Eccho has previously shopped Ay Yapim’s Turkish drama around the world, including deals in Latin America for Ezel.
