E4 pulls pranks on celebrities

UK broadcaster Channel 4 has commissioned a six-part prank comedy series for its digital network E4.

Lee Kern’s Celebrity Bedlam (6×30′) follows the comedian’s one-off prank show The Royal Wedding Crashers on C4 last year.

The new series will confront celebrities with outlandish set-ups and absurd situations and will premiere on E4 this summer.

Celebrity Bedlam was greenlit by C4 commissioning editor Madeleine Knight and is produced by Objective Productions. Andrew Newman and Nathan Eastwood are the executive producers.
