E! exec Olde steps down

The exec VP of programming and development at NBCUniversal’s US network E! has left his position.

Jeff Olde

Jeff Olde, who joined from fellow US cablenet VH1, had been in the role for almost five years and worked on the network’s shift into scripted programming with series including The Royals.

He also worked on E!’s unscripted shows including Botched and hit series Keeping Up With The Kardashians, reporting to Adam Stotsky, E!’s president.

Olde revealed the news, first reported by US trade paper The Hollywood Reporter, in a memo to staff but did not give details of his next move. A replacement is yet to be named.

His exit comes 18 months after NBCU revamped its Cable Entertainment group, which preceded Stotsky’s appointment at E!.
