UK-based MoMedia has signed a digital distribution deal with the US company and will represent more than 20 series and 800 episodes of DWC content worldwide, excluding North America.

Among the titles included in the deal are Tinga Tinga Tales, Casper the Friendly Ghost and He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, as well as Noddy and Postman Pat.

The company will also provide DWC with real-time analytics, monitoring live information on content sales performance and illegal torrent data via a proprietary web-based dashboard tool.

MoMedia targets global and local VoD platforms, including iTunes, Google Play, Amazon Instant, Xbox, Samsung and Hulu.

It currently operates in the US, Canada, the UK, Australia and New Zealand, in addition to aggregating localised content for France, Germany, Italy, Greece, the Nordics, Benelux and Central and Eastern European territories including Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic.

“Our goal is to disrupt the current digital distribution model and reinvent the way that digital content is managed and marketed,” said MoMedia CEO Lucas Bertrand.

MoMedia’s investors include Endemol Shine and the venture capital investment firm ESRG.

Bertrand founded the company, which includes a team of veterans from Sky, BBC, Channel 5, NBCUniversal, Warner and Endemol.
