DreamWorks Channel enters Singapore

The Adventures of Puss in Boots features on the channel

DreamWorks Animation (DWA) has partnered with a Singaporean cable TV provider to continue the roll-out of its first branded TV network in Asia.

DreamWorks Channel will arrive in Singapore on March 3 via Starhub and follows inaugural launches in Thailand and Malaysia in 2015.

Claiming to feature more original content than any other kids’ channel in Asia, the network will also be launched as an on-demand channel on StarHub’s pay TV platform.

Available in both English and Mandarin, its initial line-up will include DWA-produced series such as Dragons: Race to the Edge and Dinotrux.

Other series due to join the schedule include All Hail King Julien, The Adventures of Puss in Boots, Dawn of the Croods and The Mr Peabody & Sherman Show.

The channel will also present a daily morning preschool block, DreamWorks Junior, featuring series such as Raa Raa The Noisy Lion and Guess with Jess.

A free preview of the DreamWorks Channel will be available for all StarHub TV customers from launch until March 20.
