DailyMailTV will launch on DailyMail.com in fall 2016 and will be syndicated throughout the US by CBS Television Distribution.

Carla Pennington, exec producer of Dr Phil’s syndicated talk show, is on board to exec produce the show with McGraw and his son Jay. The show may include interview segments from McGraw’s US shows, if there are clips the Mail wants to run.

The Daily Mail announced its deal with the McGraws’ production outfit, Stage 29, at the Cannes Lions festival yesterday.

“DailyMail.com is famous for shining a light on the most important issues that matter but might have been overlooked by everyone else,” said DailyMail.com publisher Martin Clarke. “We’re also not afraid to rattle some cages and demand answers without fear or favour.”

The Daily Mail said the show would be shot from its offices in LA, New York, London and Sydney.

McGraw found stardom with appearances on The Oprah Winfrey Show in the late 1990s before launching his own daily syndicated programme, Dr Phil.
